"The Federal Way Mirror is a twice-weekly community newspaper serving the city of Federal Way, in South King County. We published our first issue on Feb. 4, 1998, one week after the former community newspaper here closed its doors. We have been growing rapidly ever since. The Mirror is the official newspaper of the city of Federal Way. It is circulated free every Wednesday and Saturday to 30,750 homes - or about 75 percent of total households - within the Federal Way school district. The Mirror is part of Sound Publishing, Inc., a private Washington company, which owns 13 other newspapers and has two printing facilities, one in Burlington and the other on Bainbridge Island. Sound is the largest non-daily newspaper group in Washington state. The Mirror is the first choice for local news, information, and advertising in Federal Way. We attract readers and advertisers because of the quality of our newspaper, and because of our deep connections with the community."
