School board finalists will be chosen today

Citizens who applied for the Federal Way School Board position 4 seat vacated by Tom Madden are Richard Reece, Jim Storvick, Angela Griffin, Chris Brown, Paul Kalchik, Heidi Gailey, Gerald Galland. On May 28, current board members will review all applications, narrow the field of applicants to five, and send out interview questions to finalists.

At 7 p.m. June 11, finalists will be interviewed during an open meeting of the board. A decision will be made that same evening. The new board member will be sworn in June 24 and will serve until the next school board election in November 2009.
