Mirror staff reports:

Federal Way police are searching for a man who robbed Jamba Juice with a hypodermic needle.

Two employees were on duty Monday morning at Jamba Juice, 1413 S 348th St. in The Crossings shopping center.

Around 6:40 a.m., a white male suspect entered the store and demanded cash. The suspect displayed a hypodermic needle and, according to police, stated "Do you want AIDS?"

The male employee retreated. The suspect grabbed the cash drawer, emptied its contents and fled on foot.

A witness alerted police to the direction where the suspect fled. Officers pursued with a K-9 unit but did not find the suspect, according to police.

The suspect was described as a white male, about age 20, with a thin build. He wore a black motorcycle helmet with silver markings.

There were no injuries reported by the two Jamba Juice employees.

The investigation is ongoing. More information will be reported when available.
