A seven-month undercover investigation in three Federal Way high schools concluded Thursday when three adults and seven juveniles were arrested on charges involving the distribution of drugs and firearms, police Commander Steve Neal said.

A total of 14 Federal Way suspects have been charged in relation to the drugs and firearms possession and trafficking, police spokeswoman Stacy Flores said.

Of the suspects, three are adults (one of which is an 18-year-old student), and 11 are juvenile students at Federal Way, Todd Beamer and Decatur high schools, Flores said. Four of the suspects still remain at large, she said.

The Federal Way School District sent a letter May 31 to parents and guardians, informing them of the investigation
