With opening day just a week away, Wild Waves Theme Park stands on the crest of growth for its 30th anniversary.

Formerly known as Wild Waves and Enchanted Village, this 70-acre amusement park packed with water rides and roller coasters will open for the season June 9.

This past spring, Six Flags sold the theme park to Jacksonville, Fla.-based PARC 7F-Operations Corp. for $312 million after months of speculation.

After another sale, PARC Management now runs Wild Waves, along with six other theme parks, through a land lease deal with an investment company in Florida.
