Two females flee scene of head-on collision in Federal Way

Two females are accused of fleeing the scene of a serious head-on collision in Federal Way.

Police responded to a call at 10:36 p.m. Thursday at 1100 SW Campus Drive. A male driver, 27, was found critically injured just outside the driver's side door of his truck. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center. An update on his condition is not available at this time.

The second vehicle was occupied by two females who exited the car after the crash, according to witness accounts. The females walked away from the scene and were picked up by an unidentified vehicle, police report. Damage was significant to both vehicles.

On Dec. 7, the two female suspects turned themselves in, according to Federal Way police. The driver was booked for vehicular assault and was later released, pending the filing of formal charges. The driver of the vehicle that was seen transporting the two females away from the collision was identified and interviewed by traffic investigators, according to police.
