Federal Way police arrested a 24-year-old male nursing assistant April 3 for investigation of murder in the March 18 death of Federal Way resident Jane Carol Britt, 75.

Joseph Njonge was employed by Garden Terrace Alzheimer Center, the home where Britt's husband resides. He is a Kent resident and was linked to the case through a DNA sample police collected from Britt's body. Bail was set at $1 million.

Britt was found March 19 dead in her car, parked outside the Alzheimer’s center. She had visited the center the previous day to see her husband.

Njonge will return to King County Superior Court by April 8, according to reports.
