There were no injuries after a 48-year-old woman rammed a car through the front window of a 7-Eleven store at the intersection of Southwest 312th Street and 1st Avenue South on Tuesday morning.

The accident, which happened at approximately 10:15 a.m. July 3, broke the front glass window of the business and also broke a water pipe, resulting in a small flood in front of the store.

The woman was attempting to park in a stall in front of the business when she hit the gas and rammed into the glass window, according to Federal Way Police.

Following the accident, the woman left the scene of the crime in a Nissan Pathfinder before returning with her boyfriend in another vehicle. The woman is being charged with felony hit and run and had no vehicle insurance, according to police.

South King Fire and Rescue personnel at the scene said the woman did not appear intoxicated at the time of the accident. She claimed that the car wasn't hers and that she wasn't used to the controls.
