Crews extinguish Federal Way house fire

Mirror staff reports:

South King Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire about 1:05 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at 422 SW 322nd St. in Federal Way.

A spokeswoman said the fire at a two-story wood-framed house has been extinguished. Investigators are checking for the fire's extension and cause. Smoke and flames were coming from the back of house when fire crews arrived. No injuries were reported and nobody was home at the time of the fire. The American Red Cross will find shelter for the residence's family this evening.
