Mirror staff reports:

Four suspects are in custody Wednesday following an interrupted residential burglary in Federal Way.

A neighbor in the 200 block of SW 295th Street called 911 at about 1:36 p.m. March 21 to report that four people were loading items from a residence into a vehicle.

Several officers responded to the location in an attempt to locate the vehicle and suspects. A pursuit took place, according to a police spokeswoman. The vehicle had been involved in an incident earlier in the day in Des Moines, according to police.

The suspects' vehicle was located about 2 miles away from the alleged burglary. Two males and two females, all South King County residents, were taken into custody.

Federal Way High School was placed on temporary safety lockdown, as per policy, during police activity in the school's vicinity on Pacific Highway South.

More information will be reported when available.
