Licari Legacy Event slated for Friday, Jan. 27 at FWHS

Federal Way High School will host the inaugural Licari Legacy Event from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27. All the proceeds from the event will benefit the family of 21-year Federal Way High School teacher/coach Jean Licari, who passed away after a short battle with cancer on Jan. 8.

The Licari Legacy Event will include a silent auction from 2 to 6 p.m. There will also be a Federal Way High School Cross Country Course Fun Run open from 2 to 4 p.m. with a suggested donation of $3 for students and $5 for adults. A Multi-Cultural Dance Celebration will run from 4 to 6 p.m. with a $3 suggested donation for students and $5 for adults and a Short Film Festival from 6 to 8 p.m in the Federal Way High School Little Theatre.

The Federal Way ROTC will be providing concessions during the event. Additional donations can be made at fwhsfoundation.org.
