From staff reports:

Waste Mangement and the City of Federal Way are alerting residents of potential delays in garbage collection. Snow is limiting access to some residential areas in Island, Skagit, King and Snohomish Counties served by Waste Management. Federal Way is among the affected cities.

Customers are advised to remove their garbage and recycling from the curbside if it is not picked up by the end of the day on its regularly scheduled collection day. Up to twice the amount of material normally collected will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled collection day at no additional cost.

Commerical and multi-family residences will see service resumed as soon as conditions allow.
