Library expanding dowloadable books

King County Library System will launch an expanded eBook collection that will allow patrons to check out and download title to their personal computers and handheld devices.

The new program is scheduled to begin Sept. 15, operating with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Palm Reader. The programs will be available through a free, one-time download.

Via www.kcls.orgPatrons, will have access to more than 500 best-selling fiction and non-fiction eBooks for all ages .

The library system began offering technology eBooks in 2000
