Aman-Wallace

Melissa Aman is engaged to marry James Wallace Jr. at the Rotunda in Union Station in Tacoma.

Aman is the daughter of Terry and Kim Aman of Kent West Hill. Wallace is the son of James Wallace Sr. of California and Janet and Kim Cherban of Renton.

Lawton-Hanson

Melinda Lawton of Tacoma and Daniel Hanson of Auburn are planning a Sept. 15 wedding and reception at Elks Lodge No. 174.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Daniel Lawton Sr. of South Prairie and the late Sheila Ann Kidd Lawton. The groom-to-be is the son of Lawrence and Fay Hanson of Auburn.

The new couple earned AA degrees from Highline Community College and are students at Central Washington University in Ellensburg.
