Flavors of the World cultural fair was held Aug. 20 at the Federal Way Regional Library, 34200 1st Ave. S. Click here to view a photo slideshow from the event.

Federal Way residents and library users were greeted with Latin American music by Los Flacos. Colorful tables were set up throughout the building featuring a range of ethnic and cultural groups displaying information, crafts and food. Multilingual storytellers performed in the children’s area in Japanese, Spanish, Russian and Korean; along with a Ukrainian children’s choir, a Chinese Lion Dance troupe and more. Pac Island Grill provided a taste of Hawaii and Polynesia.
