Gloria's Angels is partnering with the family and friends of Federal Way resident Kaylie Bergen, a 6-year-old with brain cancer.

Kaylie has been through several rounds of treatment. Gloria's Angels is a non-profit organization that is recruiting volunteers to help the Bergen family with meals, housekeeping, yard work and errands — whatever can be done to ease their daily burdens so that they can spend more time and energy with Kaylie.

A kick-off meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 at 3632 S. 334th St., Federal Way (North Lake neighborhood). Anyone interested in volunteering or donating is welcome to attend. Doug Strauss, founder of Gloria's Angels, will deliver a short introduction about the program. To learn more, call TaShawna Nash at (206) 427-6701.
