Todd Beamer Air Force JROTC wraps season at regionals

On March 18, Todd Beamer High School’s Air Force JROTC drill team participated in the Northwest Drill and Rifle Conference Regional Drill Championships hosted by Rogers High School’s Army JROTC.

The competition field included the top three teams, in seven drill categories, from four drill divisions.

Todd Beamer High School’s AFJROTC all women Color Guard Team No. 2 took fourth place out of 12 teams.

The team includes DeAndrea Askew, commander Krystal Robbins, Harmonie Leoso and Carolyn Leoso.

Beamer’s AFJROTC Dual Unarmed Exhibition Team placed fourth out of 12 teams. This team included Max Torres and Joshua Hoang.

All of TBHS’s AFJROTC drill teams placed in nearly every divisional drill meet during the regular drill season from December to March.

Now that the season is over, Beamer’s AFJROTC drill teams will continue their early morning practices and prepare for next year’s competitive season.
