This is Opie, and he needs a home | Pet of the Week

Opie is a 5-year-old male cat, domestic short-hair, black and white (ID #A517060). This mellow boy is looking for his snuggle buddy! If he feels he’s being ignored, he may meow to let you know he wants scratches and cuddles. He likes to roll around to show you how cute he is. Opie is FIV+ and needs to be an indoor-only kitty and either an only kitty or live with other kitties who are also FIV+. Humans cannot get FIV from kitties though, and neither can other animals such as dogs. Opie is also FELV+ and may need special veterinary care in the future. The officers and veterinarians at the shelter will be happy to answer any questions you have when you come for a visit. Opie can provide just as much love as any other kitty! He is litter-box trained, neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped! His $30 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Opie on his Petfinder profile at https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/37136030.
