St. Francis to host Roll the Dice for Breast Care in Federal Way

The Franciscan Breast Center at St. Francis will sponsor Roll the Dice for Breast Care, an evening of fun and fundraising starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club, 3583 SW 320th St. in Federal Way.

Proceeds from this annual event support mammograms for women who lack medical insurance or the ability to pay for breast-health services. Admission (donation) is $22 per person. Register online at www.chifranciscan.org/mammogram and click on “News and Events” or call 1-888-825-3227 toll-free. Seating is limited and registration is required.

The Franciscan Breast Center provides a range of outpatient services for women, including digital screenings and diagnostic mammograms.

Roll the Dice for Breast Care is part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.  The American Cancer Society recommends women age 40 and over obtain an annual mammogram. Women under 40 with a family history of breast cancer or other chronic health conditions should consult with their family physician.
