“Evening with Elvis”: Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Gamma Delta Chapter of Federal Way, presents “An Evening with Elvis,” 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, Belmor Park Golf & Country Club, 2101 S. 324th (directly south of The Commons). Brett Wiggens, a well-known Elvis impersonator, performs famous Elvis songs. This National Project, Cancer Research fundraiser benefits all types of cancer research. Veterans Day observance: The community is invited to celebrate patriotism and show gratitude for the selflessness of military service at Federal Way’s annual Honoring Our Own from 3-5 p.m. Nov. 11 at Todd Beamer High School, 35999 16th Ave. S. The keynote speaker will be Bill Knudsen, who lost his birth father in World War II when German guns shot down his plane over France. Admission is free. On-site donations will be collected to benefit the William J. Wood Veterans House. The public is encouraged to donate cleaning supplies, travel-sized hygiene kits, adult-sized clothing and other necessities. Mental health support group: Calvary Lutheran Church, 2415 S. 320th St., hosts a free monthly family and friends mental health support group on the second Monday of each month. A Reiki share is an opportunity for Reiki practitioners and others to come together with the intention of sharing the highest vibrations of unconditional love and light with one another. Aquarium fun: The Marine Science and Technology Center (MaST) Aquarium is open to the public every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 28203 Redondo Beach Drive S. (next to Salty’s).
