My name is Papillion, and I need a home | Pet of the Week

Papillion is a 9-year-old male dog, rat terrier-mix (ID #A543145). Papillion is an adaptable dog who goes with the flow. This outgoing and carefree boy can’t wait to find his forever home. Papillion is a very smart boy and already knows how to “sit,” “come” and “down.” He is also an independent boy who likes to do his own thing. Papillion is full of energy and loves to play. He tends to calm down when people around him stay calm. He also does best when he has lots of exercise and something to keep his mind busy. Papillion does well with other dogs. When meeting dogs in his new home, however, he would do best with a slow introduction. Papillion is neutered, current on his vaccinations and micro-chipped. His $225 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Papillion on RASKC’s website at www.kingcounty.gov/adoptapet. Click on “dog” and type in his name. Papillion is currently at the Kirkland Petco, 12040 N.E. 85th St., Kirkland. You can meet other animals available for adoption in person, seven days a week, at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, 21615 64th Ave. S.; Monday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m. Call 206-296-PETS, or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
