My name is Monkey, and I need a home | Pet of the week

Monkey is a 9-year-old female cat, Tortoiseshell (ID #A499391). While a bit shy at first, this sweet girl is very friendly once she gets to know you and loves being petted. While not always very cuddly, Monkey loves being around her humans and is a bit of a social eater. She likes it when someone is in the room with her while she eats. Some of her favorite things are catnip, feather toys and jangly plastic balls. Monkey is litter-box trained, spayed, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Her $30 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Monkey on her Petfinder profile at https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/37215257. You can also meet Monkey and other additional animals available for adoption, in person, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, 21615 64th Ave. S.; Monday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m. Call 206-296-PETS, or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
