Meet Felicia | Pet of the Week

Felicia is a 6-year-old female tabby cat, domestic short hair (ID #A508932)

Felicia is a 6-year-old female tabby cat, domestic short hair (ID #A508932).

This sweet girl gives headbutts and rubs, and she has a quiet purr. While not fond of being held, she does love to be petted, especially enjoying having her head, neck and behind-her-ears gently scratched. She can be a talker at times and will quietly say ‘hi’ to visitors. Felicia has ataxia, a condition that affects the coordination in her back end – it’s improved slightly and has stabilized since she arrived at the shelter, and she gets around just fine!

Felicia would do best in a home with older children. The officers and veterinarians at the shelter will be happy to answer any questions when you come for a visit. Felicia is litter box-trained, spayed, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Her $30 adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at the veterinarian of your choice, as well as 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.

You can find out more about Felicia on her Petfinder profile at www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36573589. You can also meet Felicia in person, along with additional animals available for adoption, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent (21615 64th Ave. S.) on Mondays from 3-6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from noon-6 p.m., and weekends from noon-5 p.m. For more information, contact 206-296-PETS or pets@kingcounty.gov.
