Meet Buster, who needs a home | Pet of the week

Buster is a 2-year-old male Labrador retriever-mix, brown/chocolate, about 103 pounds (ID #A516892). This sweet boy loves meeting new people. He does have a few extra pounds and would love to go to a home where he’ll get lots of exercise to help him lose some weight. Buster likes to run but tends to stop suddenly if he smells something interesting. He would make a great jogging or hiking buddy. He also does good on long walks. Buster knows how to sit on command and takes treats gently. He would need to meet any current dogs in your home before being adopted to make sure their energy levels match. He would do best with bigger dogs with whom he can run and play. He would do best with bigger and older children, with whom he can run and play, as well. Buster can be OK with cats who are used to big dogs. He barks a lot and would do best in a house rather than an apartment. He barks mainly to get attention, so if he lives inside with his family he shouldn’t be too noisy. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic boy to join your family, Buster would love to meet you! He is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. His $200 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.
