Hi, my name is Khan, and I need a new home | Pet of the Week

Khan is an 8-year-old male American Staffordshire terrier, about 60 pounds (ID #A089934). This handsome boy is very sweet and energetic. Khan knows how to sit on command, shake paws and give high fives. He is good on a leash and loves going for long walks with his humans. Despite his age, Khan still has a good deal of energy and is very playful. He takes treats gently and likes to get scratched and petted and will lean into you. Due to his size and energy level, Khan would do best in a home with children 12 years and older. He is also very selective about which dogs he gets along with and would like to be the only dog in his new, forever home. If you are looking for a playful boy to join your family, Khan could be the one for you. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped! His $100 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Khan on his Petfinder profile at https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/37223014. You can also meet Khan and other additional animals available for adoption, in person, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, 21615 64th Ave. S.; Monday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m. Call 206-296-PETS, or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
