FUSION announces new president

FUSION (Friends United to Shelter the Indigent, Oppressed and Needy), announced Byron Hiller as the president of FUSION’s board of directors. Hiller, an associate broker at Caldwell Banker Danforth, served as vice president in 2016. He was chosen for his experience in real estate as well as various roles in community programs.

Bob Wroblewski who served as president for the past eight years, will continue on the board as past president following a tenure during which FUSION has seen growth in properties acquired to house homeless families. During this time, FUSION officials say they have also grown in strength, wisdom, financial responsibility and recognition in the community.

Other new members of FUSION’s board of directors include David Harrison, who steps into the role as vice president. Harrison is the director of sales and marketing at Bodine Enterprises. He has served as a volunteer for FUSION and is a community activist as well. Roger Hunt joins the board as member at large. He is retired from Weyerhaeuser and brings his experience of strategic business planning to the FUSION organization.
