Federal Way hosting annual tree lighting

The city of Federal Way’s annual holiday tree lighting will take place from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 2 at Town Square Park, 31600 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Musical performances will be provided by the Federal Way Youth Symphony Orchestra, Brigadoon Honor Choir, Harmony Kings Chorus and the Thomas Jefferson High School Drum Line. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided, as well as fun free items from the following sponsors and vendors: Federal Way Arts Commission, Woodstone Credit Union (now QualStar) and Pacific Medical. Santa and friends will visit for photos. This is a free event. For more information, call 253-835-6900 or 253-835-6916.
