The Federal Way Chorale named Cecilia Lewis as the recipient of the 2017 Federal Way Chorale “Don Barrows Memorial” Scholarships. Lewis will receive $2,000 toward her college tuition. She is a graduating senior at Bellarmine High School and has spent most of her academic life in vocal performance, band and musical theater. She credits her middle school band director as her inspiration bringing the written ink on the page to life. Her

most influential experience is the award-winning performance of her singing role of Jo March in Bellarmine Prep’s production of “Little Women.”

The Federal Way Chorale will recognize Lewis at its spring concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday and at 2 p.m., Sunday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 515 S. 312th St., Federal Way.
