This week marks the nationwide release of Federal Way author W.D. Swanson’s new religious book, “Life Words: A Bible Study for Discipleship and Spiritual Warfare,” where Swanson equips her readers to embrace life as Christ’s followers.

“Life Words” is written for those who desire a happier and more prosperous life filled with love and deep fulfillment. Swanson, who has been in the darkest pits of life after suffering from poverty and abuse, shares what God has revealed to her — the secret to overcoming that life of hopelessness. She shares that God wants his people to overcome their own life’s troubles as well.

“Life Words” is the first of several books that will lead one to become a powerful and effective warrior for God. The reader will be able to change his or her life through a God-driven adventure with this book.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Swanson, who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, was raised by her grandparents. Her grandfather was also her pastor and father figure during her early childhood. At the age of 13, she moved to Alaska to live with her mother, where she made bad choices for her life. Finally, at the age of 27, she repented from her dark ways. Currently, Swanson lives in Washington with her husband and four children. She is attending Bakke Graduate University and pursuing a master’s degree in global and urban leadership.
