City hosting holiday camp for children during winter break

The city of Federal Way is hosting a holiday camp for children ages 5 to 13 at the Federal Way Community Center during winter break. Camp is from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 18-22 and Dec. 26-29 at the Federal Way Community Center, 876 S. 333rd St.

Daily activities include swimming, rock climbing, holiday crafts and gym games. Field trips on Wednesdays will include going to Cougar Mountain Zoo and skating.

Registration fees are $40 to $50 daily, $175 for week one, $140 for week two or $295 for the entire camp. Rates will increase on Dec. 1. Go to the Federal Way Community Center website, itallhappenshere.org, to register.
