When Centerstage first co-produced a show with Entertainment Events Inc., it broke box office records at Knutzen Family Theatre. “Cuff Me” was a hilarious parody of the bestselling “Fifty Shades of Grey.” “Girls Night,” their next show together, had similar success.

In this tradition, Centerstage is pleased to announce “Dishing with the Divas,” which will run until Feb. 26.

“Dishing with the Divas” is a high energy show about the final live studio broadcast of the hit talk show “GIRL TALK” on WPMS radio. The two radio hosts and their most popular regular guest Sex Therapist, Dr. Lauda, are going out in style. The ladies love to dish about life, love, sex, marriage, relationships, friendships, motherhood, careers, food, alcohol, and yes, men in any capacity.

This show will have every woman in the audience dancing, laughing and singing from start to finish as three talented ladies bust hits by artists such as The Pointer Sisters, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, and many more.

Although “Dishing with the Divas” is aimed at all women who enjoy a good girls’ night out, gentlemen are also welcomed aboard. Theatremania.com described the show as: “Perfect for Bachelorette parties, birthday parties or just an enjoyable evening out with the ladies!”

Appearing in “Dishing with the Divas” are three rising young stars in the Seattle musical theatre scene. Jorie Jones is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts. Locally, she has appeared as Ilona in “She Loves Me,” Clarice in “The Servant of Two Masters” and Madame Thenardier in “Les Miserables.” Tiffany Chancey is a graduate of the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts for Theatre and Opera. In Vegas, Tiffany played Cheryl at Planet Hollywood’s “Evil Dead: The Musical.” Locally she has worked with Burien Actors Theatre and Stage Right. Cass Neumann is also a recent graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in acting/musical theatre. She was last seen as Sister Albert Maria in “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding in Edmonton, Canada” and in Cornish’s “Nine the Musical” as Liliane La Fleur. Later this season she will appear in “Cardinal Sins” as Belinda at Centerstage.

Tickets for all 12 performances are on sale and available by phone at 253-661-1444, online at www.centerstagetheatre.com, and in person one hour before show time at the Knutzen Family Theater box office. Single tickets are $35 for adults ($25 on Thursdays); $30 for seniors and military ($20 on Thursdays), and $15 for all those under 25.

All shows are performed at the Knutzen Family Theatre in Federal Way. Performances begin at 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on and Sundays.

“Dishing for Divas” is recommended for patrons 18 years old and older for content and language.
