As a four-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, I want to say how enthusiastic I am about another veteran and friend of mine who is running for fire commissioner, Roger Flygare.

Roger is a person whom I have known and admired for over 30 years. I have been a close friend of his family as well and many of our mutual friends are active with Roger in the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

I could recommend no one higher than Roger. We both have rural backgrounds in common and respect for hard work and independence. His court reporting business speaks to his personal competence and integrity as well as his fiscal management ability.

I urge you to vote for the person best qualified by character and ability to be a commissioner in South King Fire and Rescue, Roger Flygare.
