Teri Hickel is a proven leader | Letter

Voters of the 30th Legislative District have a choice to change the direction of the Washington State Legislature by casting their vote for a genuine winner.

Voters of the 30th Legislative District have a choice to change the direction of the Washington State Legislature by casting their vote for a genuine winner.

Teri Hickel, who was endorsed by both “The Seattle Times” and “Tacoma News Tribune” did an outstanding job during the Federal Way Mirror debate with her appointed, not elected legislator, Carol Gregory.

The voters are blessed with a candidate who radiates confidence, enthusiasm, open-mindedness and leadership qualities that she has been infusing into her Advanced Leadership Foundation and instruction since 1999.

She will continue to champion for education and students, not only for the Federal Way school district but for all districts in Washington state. She does not have a conflict of interest as her opponent Carol Gregory does by having served on the Federal Way board of education while serving in the Legislature. Teri is committed to limited spending and more accountability in Olympia.

With her proven leadership qualities she will help bring legislators on both sides to move our state forward to help solve the many problems facing our Washington state. She deserves your vote of confidence and can do a great job for the voters of the 30th Legislative District, even though she did not get the Federal Way Mirror’s endorsement.

A grateful citizen of the democratic privilege to cast my vote for TERI HICKEL.

Judy Richardson, Federal Way
