State of the press

Political columnist Bob Roegner states that the president says the media is the enemy of the people.

Political columnist Bob Roegner states that the president says the media is the enemy of the people. Roegner champions free press as a wonderful thing. It used to be that way, indeed, but look at the monopoly that owns 90-plus percent of today’s media. Trump’s media coverage has been at least 90 percent negative since he was elected. So, today, yes, the media is the enemy of the people.

The owners of the media, all the TV networks, CNN, many newspapers, are all owned by liberals. Ninety percent negative. Do you argue with that? Sure, free press is great, but skewed by liberal owners is bad. Obviously a monopoly and obviously a bad thing.

Objective journalism is dead in America. Do you hear me, Mr. Roegner? I wish so. Sit in your office and talk about the wonderful state of the press, when it is truly garbage made to brainwash and tell people what to believe.
