We are writing to support Teri Hickel’s re-election as state representative for the 30th District.

We’ve known Teri since 1994 when we first moved to Federal Way. She was one of the first people we met, and we’ve worked together as friends and fellow citizens to promote the health of our schools by working on bond and levy campaigns together.

Teri supports schools and always has. She’s committed to helping school districts meet the needs of every student by fully funding basic education and updating the antiquated school funding formula.

We deeply appreciate Teri’s guidance of Advancing Leadership. She helped develop a generation of community leaders that know and care for our city and schools.

Teri has walked the path as a longtime resident promoting this community locally, raising her children here, participating in school communities, city groups and programs that have enriched our district. It is the passion of citizens like her who have known our community for so long that she is this community. A vote for Teri Hickel will cross all divides and help promote the health and vitality of our community.
