Homeless stories need to address underlining problems

Both articles were fluffy, meant to tug on our hearts.

So far we have had two front page articles about the homeless of Federal Way. Both articles were fluffy, meant to tug on our hearts.

Neither article discussed the underlining problems causing the homelessness, drugs and mental health, children of parents with drug or mental health issues.

Building tiny houses and feeding the homeless may make Mr. Roegner and the mayor feel good, but it will not solve the problem.

I challenge the Mirror to do some real reporting.
