Federal Way Symphony a treat | Letter

Bravo!

We enjoyed immensely the May 1 performance of the Federal Way Symphony. What a community treasure!

The program was well thought-out with a variety of music. The musicians are of a much higher caliber than one would expect from a community organization. And under Maestro Brian Davenport’s direction, their performance was amazing. We especially enjoyed the narrative he presented before each piece so we could more fully appreciate what we were about to hear. To top it off, he didn’t use a score, illustrating his deep knowledge of and passion for each piece.

Tristan Greeno, piano soloist, wowed the audience with his performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto in E-flat, No. 22, then bowled us over with Rachmaninoff for an encore.

Thank you to the symphony for your contributions to the Federal Way community!

We will most certainly attend performances in the future and highly recommend that our neighbors join us in supporting them.
