An open letter to Linda Kochmar and Teri Hickel | Letter

I must remind you that I am your constituent and that I do expect you to represent my interests.

I must remind you that I am your constituent and that I do expect you to represent my interests. I am particularly distressed to learn that you voted against HB 1745, a bill that gives Washington state voters a fair chance at representation, as well as extending to local jurisdictions the power to protect the freedom of all voters to have options for changing their election system in a manner that is fair and tailored to local needs.

It is necessary for me to ask: Whose interests were you representing when you voted against HB 1745? Certainly not mine. Did Charles and David Koch have a greater voice than mine in the casting of your vote?
