Entertainment: Free live music, garden tour, FUSION arts fest

Free summer concerts: Free concerts run 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at Steel Lake Park, 2410 S. 312th St. July 17: The Rangers (country). July 24: Alice Stewart (blues). July 31: Deems Tsutakawa (jazz). In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be relocated to the Federal Way Community Center.

Garden Tour: The Federal Way Symphony’s 14th Annual Garden Tour runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20. Delight in viewing seven unique private gardens in the community. Check out artisans and unusual plants, talk to master gardeners, and listen to music in the gardens. Landscape designer Susie Egan will give a presentation called “Fall Fireworks” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club (lunch available for purchase). Kiwanis charity golf: Annual tournament begins at 1 p.m. July 19 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Food, raffle and silent auction available. Sponsors and players needed. All proceeds go back into the Federal Way community. Dedicated in honor of Bill Martin and Don Barrows. Contact (253) 838-3281.

Salmon Bake: The 57th annual Federal Way Kiwanis Salmon Bake will run 4 to 8 p.m. July 26 at Steel Lake Park, and will feature a beer and wine garden. Tickets are $20 general admission, $17 for seniors. Proceeds benefit the community. Call (253) 951-4610.
