'The Music Man' is coming soon to Knutzen Family Theatre

"The Music Man" is coming to the Knutzen Family Theatre at 7 p.m. June 20-22 and at 2 p.m. June 23.

Federal Way's Friendship Theatre is bringing the show to the city, and tickets are $7 for general admission.

The Friendship Theatre troupe is sponsored by the city's Parks and Recreation Department, and has been in existence since 2001. In the past 12 years, the troupe has performed several productions including "Beauty and the Beast," "Cinderella," "Annie" and "Grease."

The group practices from September through June for their annual productions, and over 40 actors belong to the troupe today.
