Poverty Bay Wine Festival: Wine-tasting fund-raiser, plus entertainment by the Michael Powers Trio today (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and tomorrow (noon to 5 p.m.) at the Des Moines Marina Beach Park Auditorium, 22030 Dock St. Participating wineries include E.B. Foote, Five Star Cellars, Nota Bene Cellars, Page Cellars, Waving Tree, Two Mountains, Kalamar, Wind River, Chandlers Reach, El Mirador and Hinzerling.
