Local bands YAK it up

Live music by teen bands will be featured when the Federal Way Youth Commission hosts a Youth at Klahanee (YAK) Night this Friday.

The event is scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. at Klahanee Lake Community Center, 33901 Ninth Ave. S.

The event is open to students in grades 9 through 12. Admission is $4 per person, with student ID required for entry.

Feature bands will include Years to Zero, Falling Behind and the Dramatics.

The Youth Commission is an advisory group for the city of Federal Way. Additional information is available from Aaron Moe, the city's teen services coordinator, at 661-4157.
