Federal Way Chorale’s 10th anniversary Bach to Broadway concert will be presented tonight at 8 o’clock and tomorrow at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church.

The church is at 515 S. 312th St. in Federal Way. Tickets are $10.

Featured numbers include a Latin chant (“Uhi Caritas”), a children’s song (“Winken, Blinken and Nod”), a French song (“Dire’ton”) and spirituals (“Elijah Rock”).

Also planned are Irving Berlin and Disney tunes (“Embraceable You” and “A Whole New World,” respectively) and a medley from “Oklahoma.”

The chorale is sponsored by Capital One, Horizon Corp., Federal Way Arts Commission and Cultural Development Authority of King County.

In addition to performing, the chorale involves itself in the community by presenting a $1,000 scholarship annually to a Federal Way Public Schools high school senior who is planning to study vocal music in college. In advance of concerts, chorale members also sing at local retirement homes.

The chorale’s membership ranges from 65 to 102.
