Big Band Showcase: Decatur High School bands present their annual Big Band Showcase, featuring guest host John Keister, on March 23 at Our Savior’s Baptist Church. Keister is best known for his 15-year run as the host of the hit comedy show "Almost Live." The Big Band Showcase is This fundraising event features both silent and live auction items. Lend Me A Tenor: Centerstage Theatre presents the classic comedy "Lend Me A Tenor," which runs March 1-24 at the Knutzen Family Theatre, 3200 SW Dash Point Road. Public art: City Hall is displaying the work of Arts Alive contest winner Dennis Harrison, who specializes in the fine art of Marquetry, using natural and dyed wood veneers to create stunning images. The gallery at City Hall is located on the second floor at 33325 8th Ave. S. and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Dumas Bay Centre is featuring the watercolor work of Federal Way resident Eileen Miryekta, whose paintings capture the spirit of two waterfront landmarks: Seattle’s Pike’s Place Market and Post Alley. The gallery is located at 3200 Dash Point Road and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
