Harmony Kings Chorus to perform 50th anniversary show at Auburn

The Harmony Kings Chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society will present its 50th anniversary show, "Moments to Remember", on Saturday and Sunday at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 E. Main St.

The chorus will perform numbers from each decade's repertoire. SEP, a nationally ranked quartet from Colorado, will be featured performing guests.

Performance are 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at APAC, 700 E. Main St.

The chorus rehearses regularly at St Luke's Lutheran, 515 S. 312th, Federal Way. Its membership spans Seattle to Olympia, Gig Harbor to Enumclaw. The chorus includes active members who were charter member 50 years ago and members of all ages and walks of life who sing joyfully to a wide audience.

Past directors are coming from throughout the country to participate.

The chorus' continuing presence in the arts community has been recognized by and received grants from King County's 4Culture organization.
