Wild Waves Theme Park opens for the 2011 season

Wild Waves Theme Park opens for the 2011 season on Saturday, May 14. The Thomas Jefferson High School Band will be playing starting at 10 a.m. to help celebrate.

The 70-acre park is located on Enchanted Parkway just off Interstate 5 in Federal Way. Wild Waves features more than 60 attractions including 20 waterslides along with Washington’s biggest roller coaster, TimberHawk, and a steel roller coaster, The Wild Thing. A new water ride will be built in 2011. The park also features live entertainment and music.
