On June 15, the Green Gables Elementary Student Council presented checks for $500 to Friends of the Hylebos and Soldiers’ Angels. The money was raised during the council’s Penny Harvest. Green Gables teacher Amy Thompson presented a check to Erin Sitterly of Soldiers’ Angels along with Lili Allala and Margery Godfrey from Friends of the Hylebos.
