From staff reports:

Maribeth Steincipher, the registrar at Truman High School, has been named the Washington Education Association’s Education Support Professional of the Year. She is recognized as an advocate for students who started a PTSA, helped outfit young people for prom, sent computers to Namibia and offers solid advice to students. Many students call her “mom.” Steincipher will be recognized in Spokane on May 15.
