South King Fire and Rescue is celebrating over 60 years of service to our communities in Federal Way and Des Moines. During the past 60 years, mergers and other monumental changes have created the fire department known today.

The department is offering service clubs, businesses and other community groups the opportunity to help them celebrate the milestone. Each year various members of the fire department make special presentations within the community. This year, Chief Al Church and his administrative team would like to meet with interested groups and talk about the fire department – past, present and future. The presentation is called “This Isn’t Your Mother’s or Father’s Fire Department.”

To schedule your group starting in April, contact Lauri Perry at (253) 946-7253.
