The free winter seminar runs 2:20 to 3:10 p.m. Fridays from Jan. 9 to March 6.

The seminar will discuss a wide range of topics, including the Death with Dignity Act, computer science, geological disasters and Lucy, the 3.2 million-year-old fossil that's currently on display at the Pacific Science Center.
